Just popping in to see if you have a peanut satay recipe….nope. Will check back some other time.
Had a good look as your other recipes though. YUM!

Hi beauty, I don’t have any peanut satay recipes – Kirk is allergic to the starch in peanuts
What are your thoughts on the effects of nightshade vegetables in AS? I know potatoes are out no matter what but I do see that you have included tomatoes in some of your recipes. I’ve just been diagnosed with AS and am exploring a starch free diet (and am seriously thinking about your Reboot plan which looked AMAZING) and I’m still trying to figure out how restrictive I have to be. Thanks!
Hi Lindsay, I am sorry for my late reply! None of these notifications of people’s messages came through on my email….all to spam. We have just ignored all potatoes (sweet and white), bananas, pumpkin, any root veggies that have that chalky, starchy texture – taro, etc. Tomatoes haven’t affected Kirk in anyway. We have just recently added in pumpkin (pumpkin goes black when you test it with iodine) and amazing Kirk didn’t react. We also tried him on some hot chips and he also didn’t react. Not sure why, possibly because he has been avoiding starch for so long that his body is handling very small amounts on the smallest of occasion. It is interesting though. I would highly recommend the reboot – it had such a quick and dramatic turn-around for Kirk’s AS. We are currently doing the GAPS diet as our GP has said that the AS could be linked to a weak gut with not much good bacteria. It is a long story, but we thought we would give it a go anyway! Good luck!
