Hot Potato Chip Substitute

We found it!!! We found a hot potato chip substitute from the Mellissa over at ‘I Breathe I’m Hungry‘. Trying to think of something I can cook to replace hot chips without using a starchy vegetable has really played a toll on my brain and I had given up. Then BOOM up pops these little gems of cauliflower goodness and we are celebrating the night away munching on these, sipping beer and watching Hugh Jackman with a bunch of robots. That’s a good night.

You can find Mellissa’s recipe here.

Changes: I didn’t have any butter left, so I left that step out. I also added a tsp of crushed garlic to the mixture. Once they were finished baking in the oven, I fried them in the pan with grapeseed oil to crisp them up.  A sprinkling of sea salt and you got yummy chippies on your plate.

  1. Thanks for linking to my recipe Katrina! I bet they were great with a beer – and I love your addition of some garlic too, going to try that on my next batch! :)
