Hubby and I had our first day back teaching yesterday after our Christmas break. It wasn’t too much of a shock to the system. I am back teaching Prep again this year after 2 years with Year Four (5 years before that I was teaching Preschool/Prep). My day whizzed past full of questions, tales, cuddles, laughter and yawns.

We both had a fantastic day with our new classes, but we were tired by the time we walked through our front door. So tired in fact that I was very slack with dinner tonight. We had milkshakes sometime after 9pm as we watched the tennis and hubby blogged (www.kirkvagg.com/blog).

The milkshake was FAST to make in my Thermomix, filling, healthy but light enough to fall asleep with it still in your belly. It tasted fruity with a hint of chocolate. My kind of shake!

* sprinkling of bee pollen on the top before drinking

1. Put it all in the Thermomix/ blender/ food processor and turn it on full blast so everything is smooth.
