Forget Angry Birds…we’ve got Rain Birds in our backyard.

Since our chooks arrived, we have had all sorts of birdlife fluttering about picking up bits of stray seed from the grass. I am quite happy to see all this beautiful birdlife as an owner of not one, but two cats. I would be horrified if my cats were animal killers (except for the odd mouse. Soz mouse lovers). Both cats don’t seem to give two-hoots about the birdies. The chooks don’t give the cats two looks, but a black crow is another story! Crows get chased away by the chooks in a very protective and agressive manner. No mucking about. These little birdies in the photos seem safe from the Angry Chooks in the rain so far.
